Activities Coordinator

If so, you might be the perfect fit to showcase EF San Francisco as our Activity Coordinator for EF International Language Centers. The Role: The Activity Coordinator supports the Activities department in organizing and leading events, providing great customer service to our student population, building a sense of community, being an outgoing and vivacious guide to EF San Francisco, and assisting our students by getting them involved in activities that we offer. This position also asks the applicant to help with administrative tasks and constant interaction with our students both at the school and student residence. Some examples of exciting activities the activity leader will lead include hiking, neighborhood walking tours, coastal cruises, arts and crafts, and beach volleyball, just to name a few.

Key responsibilities include:

• Organize and execute a full schedule of activities, games, sports, field trips and excursions.
• Collect, log and bank money for optional excursions and activities.
• Deal with problems and emergency situations should they arise.
• Work effectively within a team to deliver excellence in customer experience.
• Upbeat and positive even during stressful times.
• Able to develop positive relationships with team members and international students and the community
• Able to work as a team and independently
• Assist with student arrivals, departures and evaluations

Candidate Profile:

• Enthusiastic, confident, friendly and energetic.
• A natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and punctual.
• Goes above and beyond, never settling for status quo.
• A person who enjoys a fun and dynamic international environment and is flexible
• Comfortable leading activities, social events, sports activities and excursions for groups of 20-40 students.
• Knowledge of the local area preferred.
• Bilingual preferred. Fluency in English required.
• Creative thinker, problem solver and takes initiative

Those applying for the position must have flexible hours including some weekends in an upbeat and diverse atmosphere.

Salary range: $40,000 - $45,000
