Acoustical Window Creation

Since 2005, Acoustical Surfaces, Inc. (Chaska, MN) has been an industry leader in producing custom acoustical (soundproofing) products in manufacturing. With over four hundred specialties materials, we have a solution for almost any noise problem!

We are proud to create windows for our military, law enforcement and even entertainment recording studios.

We continually offer competitive pay (based on skill level) with paid time off and a benefit package. Our custom window division in Norwood Young America, MN is seeking skilled individuals to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Reading shop drawings
• Cutting aluminum extrusions
• Drilling and preparing parts for hardware & assembly
• Assembling window frames
• Installing hardware & components
• Receiving glass from vendors & performing QC
• Packaging & crating window frames & glass for shipment

Job skills/background:

• Specialized training and/or experience in the metal working industry
• Skilled in using aluminum cutting equipment and tools
• Ability to read shop drawings
• Strong organizational skills
• Initiative-taking, able to self-manage
• Effective communication skills

Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm- Occasional overtime as needed.

Experience:

• Carpenters: 2 years (Preferred)
