This position is with Corporate Health Resources, Inc., (CHR), a WorkCare company. CHR is a nationwide occupational health examiner network service provider. Visit https://chr.com/.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be primarily responsible for handling the billing, tracking and reconciliation of payments posted to client accounts. The successful candidate must be highly accurate creating billings in our scheduling and accounting systems and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Other duties will include processing credit cards and handling related collections. Strong work ethic and dependability is required.

This is an on-site position working from CHR's corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Creates invoices according to company practices.
  • Assists in monitoring the shared accounts receivable email box.
  • Assists with obtaining new client information.
  • Reconciles daily credit cards processed to accounting system records.
  • Answers phones, corresponds with clients and responds to inquiries.
  • Prepares client/customer file updates (e.g., new tasks, etc.) for approval.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary.
Qualifications:
  • HS or AA preferred.
  • Relevant accounts receivable/billing experience and/or coursework.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and consistently meet various deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong data entry, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
  • Sage Intacct or similar accounting system experience preferred.
The salary range for this position is $18.00-$21.00 per hour. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
