Corporation is a premier distributor of Janitorial/Sanitary Supplies and disposable foodservice & concession supplies servicing customers nationwide with distribution centers in CA, WI, FL and TX. We are seeking a highly self-motivated, dedicated and dependable individual based in our corporate office in Santa Fe Springs, CA to manage full cycle Accounts Receivable & Credit Review.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Essential Duties:
Overview of Position:

The Full Cycle Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist is a key member of the day-to-day functions related to accounts receivable. They are responsible for performing full cycle Accounts Receivable and credit review of customers accounts and related administrative duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions.

Major Areas of Responsibility:
  • Review credit application, assess credit viability, setup new accounts and maintain AR files and required documents.
  • Heavy cash application from checks, ACH and credit cards
  • Research and resolve discrepancies, deductions, shorts pays.
  • Collection calls/emails and following up on promised payments and notating calls notes in the system.
  • Generate monthly statements and sending daily invoices and responding to requests for invoices, statements and inquiries
  • Review and respond to credit inquiry on customers’ accounts
  • Communicate with internal and external customers related to A/R
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports, month end reports and assist CPA with month end closing process.
  • assist with periodic audits.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned/needed.
Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate will have:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience with A/R processing in a fast-paced industrial or distributor environment.
  • Experience with commercial business to business collections
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to effectively organize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to take ownership on projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates a desire to learn and adapt quickly, proactive can do/will do attitude.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with customers, and team members.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain calms and professional with co-workers and customers.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word


This position offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits program.

Pay range: $24 - $27 per hour
