Position Summary:

The accounts payable specialist will be instrumental in the preparation & data entry of Accounts Payable invoices, maintaining accurate record keeping and will be assisting with various AP tasks as outlined below. Other Accounting tasks may also be assigned, from time to time.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

· Managing accounts payable using Restaurant365 and QuickBooks

· Process electronic procurement vouchers;

· Code all A/P vouchers in accordance with accounting policies;

· Schedule vendor payments, and post ACH payments

· Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures

· Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges

· Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and Filing invoices

Qualifications Summary

· Previous experience in accounts payable highly preferred.

· Thrives in a fast-paced, multiple project team setting

· Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills

· Service oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
