International Company in Troy, MI is expanding and is seeking an accounts payable specialist. The role of the Accounts Payable involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation. Their role is to complete payments, control expenses, includingprocessing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. The ideal candidate will be good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. Candidate must have at least 3 year experience of accounts payable processing. An accounts payable specialist is responsible for the financial processing of transactions for an organization. Their duties include daily bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting and establishing and verifying vendors and processing payments.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable using accounting software
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner
• Processing due invoices for payments

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of accounting principals.
• High attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $18+ based on experience

MUST HAVE experience or knowledge (area of study) in accounting procedures. There will be opportunity for growth. This is not a remote job.
