Reporting to the Director Corporate Finance, the Accounting Manager will be a key member of the finance team responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring company policies and internal controls are upheld, and participating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in month-end close activities, a strong understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP, as well as strong management experience. Energetic, collaborative, detail-oriented, organized, ability to thrive under tight deadlines, and adaptable to constant change are key values for this role.


Primary Responsibilities:
 Manage the accounting team, including direct reports
 Responsible for accounting of multiple legal entities, operating across multiple jurisdictions
under various currencies
 Review and approve journal entries prepared by the accounting team
 Prepare journal entries that a require a more significant level of judgment and experience
 Review and approve purchase orders
 Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the accounting team. Follow-up on
unreconciled differences
 Analyze monthly and year-over-year trends
 Update monthly Business Unit Reviews performed on the income statement and balance sheet.
Participate in monthly finance close call with the CFO
 Ensure corporate accounting policies are being followed and internal controls adequately
performed
 Key member for interim/audit preparation and coordination
 Support the accounting team and help to identify areas for process improvement
 Support ad-hoc reporting and projects assigned by the Director Corporate Finance


Minimum Requirements:
 Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area

 5+ years of experience in a similar type of position
 3+ years of supervisory experience Highly proficient in excel
 Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus)

Preferred Skills:
 CPA designation is a plus
 Detail-oriented
 Self-starter and ability to work autonomously
 Strong managerial skills and highly organized
 Strong analytical skills

 Understanding of US GAAP accounting principles

The pay range for this position is between $105,000 and $137,000 plus Annual; Incentive Bonus. Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
