Accounting Liaison

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accounting Liaison will provide support by assisting with the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting, and other functions in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities as described in Duties below, so adaptability and willingness to learn are valued. Confidentiality is required in the treatment of information received in the coursework of performing these responsibilities. A highly organized and driven person to join our growing company is desirable.

DUTIES
As Accounting Liaison you will be responsible for the following duties:

● Accounts Payable, including expense entry, collaboration with departmental approvers, and effective communication with vendors

● Accounts Receivable, including following up on Balance Dues, processing refunds for cancelled reservations, posting manual payments in Salesforce, and reviewing for duplicate payments

● Credit card transactions audit including analysis of large data sets

● Monthly revenue audits of all revenue sources/methods

● Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other Balance Sheet Account reconciliations

● Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual GET and TAT filing for owners and for MRR

● Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
The following skills & competencies will be required as Accounting Liaison

● Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numerical data and the use of excel spreadsheets

● Excellent judgment, problem solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

● Strong planning and organizing, project management and communication skills

● Able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, in a deadline driven environment

● Highly skilled in use of personal computers and related software applications

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team to take on new task with mid to high level of difficulty

● Demonstrate ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities

● Desired but not required: experience with Quickbooks, Bill.com, Zoho Expense Management, Asana, Salesforce

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
