Lennox National Account Services (NAS), wholly owned by Lennox International, a 120+ year old company and a world leader in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. Job Description:Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Monthly, quarterly, and year end close activities
- Prepare and posting of journal entries
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assistance with internal and external audit requests for information
- Participation in the improvement and documentation of financial and operational processes
- Ad-hoc reporting based on requests from management
- Develop and maintain effective relationships across functional teams to resolve any issues that arise
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in accounting and/or related processes (i.e., billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, taxes, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping concepts and internal controls
- Superior teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Experience working on ERP systems a PLUS (e.g. Great Plains, Hyperion)
- Ability to work with and meet deadlines
- Excellent oral/written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Detailed oriented
