OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team with a focus on accounts receivable and billing. This FULL TIME position is daytime hours, Monday-Friday.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assists the accounting manager with daily cash and reporting
· Processing deposits
· Monitoring patient billing voicemail
· Assisting patients with billing questions
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
EDUCATION:
· High school diploma
· Associates degree in accounting preferred
EXPERIENCE:
· 5 years accounting or bookkeeping experience desirable
· Medical billing experience desirable
SKILLS:
· Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles
· High degree of attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
· Strong analytic abilities
ABILITIES:
· Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, administrators, co-workers and patients.
· Exceptional attention to detail with an eye for spotting errors and discrepancies.
· Ability to interact with others with a high degree of tact, patience and judgment.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
