X-wave Innovations, Inc. (XII) is a Research and Development (R&D) firm located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We are seeking an experienced accounting professional in both federal government GRANTS and CONTRACTS to support all corporate accounting requirements. Excellent work ethics as well as good writing/communication skills are expected. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Job Duties (but not limited to):

· Full-cycle accounting includes maintaining the company accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate financial statements and job data.

· Establish, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures, financial records and statements are in compliance with the FAR, DCAA regulations, GAAP, GRANTS accounting and reporting, tax, etc.

· Prepare and submit annual provisional rate and incurred cost proposal to DCAA.

· Prepare DCAA audit.

· Coordinate and manage annual external CPA financial and Single audit including prepare financial reports and records required by Grants Audit Requirements eCFR.

· Protect company’s assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

· Process ADP semi-monthly payroll. Onboard new employees related to payroll and timekeeping.

· Create budget and cashflow projections.

· Create and maintain journal entries utilizing accounting principles.

· Process purchase orders.

· Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements.

· Perform month-end and year-end financials close out.

Qualifications:

· BS degree in accounting, or related field. Eight to ten years of GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING including both GRANTS and CONTRACTS accounting experience.

· ADP payroll process.

· Proficient in QuickBooks accounting software.

· CPA license.
