Role Overview

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining client satisfaction and contributing to client retention by providing exceptional service and value to our advertising clients and maintaining seamless execution of client programs. The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of client programs and is the direct liaison between the internal departments and the account. Pivotal role internally to ensure all payments are received/collect outstanding payments.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Launch

  • Lead kick-off calls with setting the expectations, planning out the marketing calendar, discussing strategy.
  • Communicate to client required deliverables and deadlines for branded assets (e.g. digital and social, email assets, etc.)
  • Distribute assets to relevant departments for implementation (e.g. Ad Ops, Edit, email production)

Post-Launch

  • Serve as the main point of contract in all matters related to client concerns and needs
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
  • Monitor campaigns according to agreed upon schedule ( e.g. weekly, monthly) and relay pacing to local sales manager.
  • Work with Ad Ops on optimization recommendations or delivery troubleshooting.
  • Create EOC (End of Campaign) reports
  • Create wrap up reports documenting campaign performance to ensure client KPIs were met.
  • Maintain a monthly retention of 65%+, renewing clients every year
  • Develop a through understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients with the ambition to exceed monthly sales-goals


Skills and Experience


  • Account Management or relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the client and internal organization.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result driven environment with proven ability to manage multiple projects while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Content Creation experience
  • Copywriting experience
  • Photoshop experience a plus
  • Video editing a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder
  • Demonstrates integrity, reliability and maturity
  • 2+ years of account management experience
  • English language proficiency required.
