Position: Program Account Manager
Department: Kaleo
Reports To: VP, Clinical Solutions and Patient Access

Primary Function:
Manage all aspects of a single, high-touch account, while developing the client relationship. Responsible for ensuring program business rules are being properly executed, while addressing concerns or requests received from the field (manufacturer, physicians, sales force, pharmacies, etc.) within the expected timeframe.

Job Scope and Major Responsibilities:

  • Leadership responsibilities for the assigned account in delivering client support for HUB Services
  • Hold and conduct weekly meetings
  • Manage assigned reports, meeting minutes, and agendas
  • Creation and execution of business reviews
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the client, patient, and prescriber experience
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs, objectives, and timelines
  • KPI oversight and day-to-day client deliverables
  • Manage the open task list
  • Assist with the operational management of end to end procedures
  • Monitor, daily, the key operational performance matrix, and escalate concerning trends to the Operations Director
  • Actively engage employees, clients, physicians, and pharmacies to proactively solve problems and ensure proper follow up
  • Communicate with internal contacts, manufacturers, insurance companies, pharmacies and patients to achieve program goals
  • Attend manufacturer meetings to support ongoing program development, as required
  • Manage and oversee any program changes (including system enhancement)
  • Build and maintain a strong, long-lasting client relationship
  • Appropriately document all interactions within Asembia’s workflow system
  • Additional tasks, as needed


Minimum Qualification Requirements:
  • 3-5 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Exemplary communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of the medical benefit and pharmacy benefit process
  • Previous account management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
