Our client is a family-owned business that has been working with the interior design and furnishings community in over 130 U.S. and foreign locations for over fifty years. Their headquarters is based in Dallas, Texas where we have extensive research and development experts in the care and treatment of fine furnishings. They continue to improve the products that protect as well as clean furnishings and they are constantly adapting to many different textiles that are being introduced into the design industry. This is what makes them an industry leader and sets them apart from others claiming to have the same products, services, and reputation as our client's.

All of our client's services include the following:

  • Professional hand application of their exclusive products
  • Cleaning Care Kit for in-home use (they instruct clients on how to use the kit for emergencies)
  • 18 months of complimentary on-site service (they encourage clients to use our service to help them maintain their furnishings)
  • Call/text/email directly for service/maintenance calls...fast and easy scheduling
  • Excellent customer service through individual, dedicated fabric consultants and office staff that can assist the homeowner at any time.

The Account Executive is responsible for selling our client's service offerings - a high-end luxury service to Interior Designers for their clientele as well as renewing these services to existing clients. Additionally, they are responsible for servicing existing clients.


This is a full-time position - Monday through Friday, however, individuals looking to supplement income with a flexible sales role are encouraged to apply.

While most tasks can be done virtually, candidates must be local to the Long Island area for daily travel to clients as needed

Requirements:

Who you are:

  • Previous experience in the high-end luxury market is a plus as well as Interior Design Sales.
  • Articulate communication both verbal and written is required.
  • CRM experience is also required.
  • Ability to CLOSE - in a short and quick sales cycle.
  • Knowledge of fibers and their properties.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to build rapport to build ongoing relationships
  • Exceptional listening skills with the ability to pivot conversations based on client needs
  • Prospecting is a must – ongoing.
  • Positive attitude
  • Organizational skills are a must.

What you'll do:

  • Driving sales through the development and maintenance of new and existing customer relationships in the assigned territory.
  • Travel within your territory. Travel includes showroom and designer visits as well as client visits to perform quotes and sell services. Within a 50 miles radius of Suffolk County.
  • Maintaining an updated Salesforce database.
  • Addressing all inbound customers or designers within 24 hours.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities the Company may assign you from time to time.
