We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Account Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will drive sales of our engineering services, including technical training classes, regulatory compliance services, and aftermarket engineering services for companies with large scale industrial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales of technical services, an ability to understand and communicate technical topics, a passion for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, and a relentless commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Innovative Refrigeration Systems is the premier industrial refrigeration contractor in the country. We have a portfolio of engineering services to ensure our customers constantly maintain and improve the safety, reliability and efficiency of their industrial refrigeration systems. The Account Executive will be a key member of our team as we service existing customers, scale our products, open new accounts, onboard new customers and service those accounts. This is a rapidly growing field with tremendous opportunity with the industry leader, where you will build long term customer relationships, work with leading edge technology and deliver significant value to our customers.

Comp Plan: Base + Commission

Key Duties:

  • Prospect, qualify, propose and close new business.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of potential customers, from initial contact to close of sale
  • Work closely with facility level managers and corporate Director and/or C-Suite decision makers to present and finalize engineering service agreements
  • Identify sales opportunities based on research and strategic reach-outs, expanding our presence within the industry
  • Utilize CRM software to track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and forecast.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to promote the company and our services
  • Cultivate and maintain customer relationships
  • Grow our customer base through various outbound methods including prospecting and cold calling
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Prior B2B sales experience
  • Experience selling a technical product/service to an industrial market preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Good phone presence and ability to engage with customers over phone and through email. Professional email etiquette is a must.
  • Ability to conduct sales presentations on video calls with decision makers at all levels
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot, or other CRM software a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment but also independently with little supervision
