Opportunity to execute and improve the following areas:

  • In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the service to existing accounts, obtains orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
  • Strategically increase customer sales in accordance with objectives
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations.
  • Actively report daily activities on a consistent basis to the Area Sales Manager
  • Promptly fill-in route delivery for vacations, call-offs, emergency shipments
  • Communicate with the inside sales department and the transportation department to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Occasionally deliver items as needed by customers.
  • Drive to target areas: Indianapolis, IN, Dayton, OH and Columbus, OH.

Competencies, Education, and Skills to be Successful:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have valid driver's license or be willing to obtain upon hire.
  • At least 3 years successful related sales experience with an understanding and knowledge of produce food service-related products
