LRS is looking for a dynamic and energetic Account Executive to join our growing sales team. You will be responsible for proactively maintaining, retaining, and growing relationships for your existing customers for permanent commercial and industrial waste services in your assigned sales territory. You will be part of a dynamic sales team, where your role and support will create big impact to both existing and future customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes sales plans utilizing LRS sales directives and guidelines in order to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts. Qualifies and pursues sales leads.
  • Cultivates customer relationships by developing a deep knowledge of the customer’s business and establishing a consultative relationship.
  • Engages customers by linking the customer’s business priorities to the LRS value proposition.
  • Display a thorough knowledge of the Company’s services and pricing structures.
  • Manage reactive and proactive customer calls.
  • Keeps current with industry insights, current LRS product/service mixes, monitors competition by gathering current relevant marketplace intelligence including information on pricing, services, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
  • Partners with internal resources to accomplish growth objectives.
  • Establishes and maintains clear and consistent lines of communication with internal departments relative to customer successes, customer opportunities, new customer developments and other customer specific information.
  • Actively reviews and manages existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to help minimize LRS working capital investment and financial risk.
  • Performs profitable contractual re-signs on existing customers.
  • Responds to all cancellation requests in alignment with the established escalation policy.
  • Partners with the operations team, when needed, to address customer services issues.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills

  • High School diploma or GED, Bachelor Degree preferred
  • One-year experience in front of the customer that includes addressing customer needs
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Highly skilled in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated with a passion to help people
  • Strong listening skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Pro-Active, quick-learner and self-starter
  • Strong organizational skills

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Sporadic local travel required.
