Job Summary:

Seeking a Psychiatrist to join HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital located in west Jacksonville, part of Florida’s largest healthcare system with 11,000 physician colleagues.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry and comfortable caring for adults and geriatric psychiatry patients (as well as ECT)
• Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
• No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
• Have current, unrestricted DEA registration

About Position:

• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Supported by team of certified psychiatric nurse practitioners
• HCA Florida Health provides comprehensive Behavioral Health services by offering in-patient care to adults and the older adult population.
• Our 24-bed Psychiatric unit is dedicated to adults 18 years and older.
• Additional onsite Intensive Outpatient / Partial Hospitalization Program 5 days a week available to transition patients
