Midwest Prototyping is an additive manufacturing organization specializing in prototyping and low volume production. This position offers industry variety and including aerospace and defense, consumer electronics, medical, and automotive. Opportunities for onsite training for growth within the company!
Position Summary
As Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technician, you will be working with the rest of our production team to make our customers’ designs come to life. Each day you will work on different products for different customers. You will operate 3D printers, clean and post-process 3D printed parts, and finish parts to customers’ specifications as you develop your skills as an AM Technician.
Responsibilities
- Operate and perform maintenance on 3D printers
- Interface with our enterprise resource planning software
- Process parts from various AM Technologies
- Finish parts according to customer requirements
- Inspect fabricated parts and prepare orders for shipping
Requirements
- Availability: The ability to work additional hours on nights and weekends when necessary to support production.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet challenging deadlines with minimal supervision. Must also have attention to detail, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn new things.
