Seed Conditioning Worker

Ernst Seeds, Inc., the largest distributor of native grass and wildflower seeds in the eastern U.S., has
a seed conditioning worker position available at our expanding Meadville, PA facility.
Duties include:
- Receiving and unloading bulk seed deliveries.
- Moving seed to storage areas and on to seed cleaners.
- Set up cleaner machine for processing.
- Processing seed for cleaning and testing.
- Weighing, tagging, and recording weights.
- Other crop production labor as needed.
- Performing regular maintenance on cleaner machines and building.
Candidates must possess a minimum high school education/equivalent and a valid PA
driver’s license. Must be able to work in a team environment, have written and verbal
communication skills, excellent math, and organizational skills, able to lift 65+ pounds, and
work outdoors. The ability to operate a forklift and farm machinery is a plus.
This is a full-time position and wages are based on qualifications and experience. Benefits
include medical/vision, simple IRA, supplemental insurance, and vacation. We encourage
