Job Summary and Qualifications

In collaboration with the VP, Strategic Project Management, the Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of various projects to advance key STRIC/STRG strategic and business development initiatives. This individual will collaborate with various division and functional area leaders to drive and lead integration efforts to support the mission, vision, and values of Methodist Healthcare System.


Minimum Education, Experience, Training, Required Knowledge, Skill, Abilities and Other Job-Related Characteristics:

1. Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Preferred: MBA, MHA, or related field

2. Experience:

  • 1-3 years managing systems/projects, preferably within the healthcare setting
  • Progressive executive leadership exposure preferred

3. Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service

line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population

served (if applicable).

Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:


1. Required: None

2. Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Essential Job Functions:

1. Develops and tracks project plans managing project scope, budgets, timeline, resources, and quality of deliverable to ensure project success.

2. Collaborates with STRIC, MHS, and other operational leaders to further project initiatives and identify, escalate, and mitigate barriers to project success.

3. Generates project overviews, budgets, risk assessments, and various presentations to ensure key leaders stay informed of project progress, potential issues, and obstacles.

4. Facilitates meetings related to projects and project deliverables.

5. Provides an extremely high level of customer service in support of key stakeholders.

6. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to further data manipulation to support and present key business initiatives.

Additional Job Functions:

1. Supports the mission and vision of both STRIC and Methodist Healthcare System. Understands and is committed to helping the Methodist Healthcare System and its associated facilities achieve its goals.

2. Must learn and comply with system and facility safety policies and rules; must use appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all times; must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features of equipment, tools or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisors (prior to job performance) if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.

3. Adheres to the STRIC and MHS Code of Conduct and demonstrates ethical behavior as expected by our patients, colleagues and the community. Understands the personal obligation to report any activity that appears to violate applicable laws, rules regulations or the Code of Conduct itself.

4. Completes other duties as assigned.

Professional interpretation and interventional procedures are provided by South Texas Radiology Group, P.A. (STRG).
