The vacancy

The Programme and Team Support Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Mental Health Network, working with all members of the team to provide high quality administrative support.

The postholder will assist with organising and ensuring effective running of meetings, taking minutes, membership administration and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including chairs and CEOs.

This is a varied role requiring good organisational skills. The postholder will be highly efficient, self-motivated, and IT literate. They will also be approachable, confident and professional dealing with senior people. The postholder reports directly to the Business and Programmes Manager at the MHN.

About you

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience of organising and supporting the effective running of meetings.
• Excellent written and organisational skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, with good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use initiative and judgement, able to anticipate tasks which need to be undertaken, and work with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working with IT and software including MS Office and MS Teams.
• Interest in working within the NHS and mental health sectors.
