Job Description/Responsibilities & Duties
11:30am-9:30pm Monday- Thursday
The Production Supervisor oversees the company’s production operations for a designated area, shift, or department, and will:
Maintain compliance to safety and quality procedures
·Verify staff is wearing required PPE and working safely
·Review Quality Alerts with staff, and follow up to verify requirements are met
·Segregate and label nonconforming product and move to the Hold Area
·Communicate quality concerns with QC staff
Optimize productivity
·Review the production schedule, and prioritize to meet customer requirements
·Organize the workflow of people, product, and tooling to ensure the process runs efficiently
·Monitor and prioritize tasks to meet production goals
Supervise production staff
· Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
· Cleary communicate expectations to staff; hold staff accountable for their performance
· Train associates on proper performance of work procedures
·Provide feedback to staff, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions
· Address and correct personnel conflicts in a timely manner to prevent escalation
·Review and approve staff timecards in a timely manner
Verify proper equipment operation
·Walk the process and evaluate equipment is working properly and key parameters are met
·Contact maintenance for any equipment failures
·Complete the Equipment Downtime Log for each incident
·Follow downtime procedure during any equipment failure, including re-assignment of staff
Maintain a positive work environment
· Maintain neatness and organization in assigned work area
· Assign housekeeping tasks to staff, and follow up to make ensure completion
·Display and encourage a positive attitude toward the company and its customers
Report problems and opportunities for improvement
·Complete Supervisor Feedback Report and submit to Manager for review
Reports to: Production Scheduler
Direct Reports: Production Leads, Material Handlers, Production Associates
Qualifications Include:

- Proven experience as a supervisor or manager with a background in leading a team
- -Able to read and comprehend written instructions

- -Able to lift 35# repeatedly
