We need an effective, communicator with great organizational skills to work as a Production Line Worker in
Gonzales, TX, and will report to the processing facility daily during regular business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Pack or package by hand a variety of products and materials
• Operating and working basic or entry-level equipment or lines that make bulk, industrial or retail spice and extract products
• The types of manufacturing lines include bulk spice, basic extract filling, and basic spice filling lines
• Load all manufacturing containers onto lines and pack finished goods into cases and trays in both a basic and high-speed manufacturing environment
• Abide by safety and sanitation regulations and follow all work procedures
• Be a team player
• Ability to work on and achieve daily required production targets
• Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure all equipment is working properly
• Measure, weigh and count products and materials
• Record product, packaging, and other information on specified forms and records
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, and work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Stock and sort products for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, bottles, or labels
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards and remove defective products and packaging material
• Report issues with equipment, materials, etc. to line operator or supervisor
• Work with a great group of people

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of GMP's
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to climb 2-10 ft ladders
• Ability to pull 110 pounds on a pallet jack
• Ability to read and write
• Be on your feet for 8-10 hours a day
• Have good attention to detail and communication skills
• Be a dependable self-starter
• Possess the ability to learn multiple jobs on a specific line

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
