We're hiring and excited to meet you! Learn to set up roll forming machines, presses, laser cutting machines or saws & benders to produce metal shapes for various customers in this pay-for-skills position.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Will perform machine operations and inspection tasks such as: assist in setting up tools, dies and equipment to operate roll forming machines to form material as specified by work order and specific blueprints and diagrams of the cross section. Load and unload parts on roll machines. Make minor adjustments and perform coil and line changeovers. More experienced operators may perform independent setup following orientation and initial training.

• Operate a rolling machine, laser cutting machine, press, bender or saw. Load and unload parts. This includes setting up equipment, fixtures or machine guarding and performing general housekeeping tasks. May also use cranes.
• Follow established procedures, including performing quality checks, creating inventory tickets and setup charts. Read blueprints and check parts with tools to confirm meets customer specifications.
• Learn to make adjustments to tooling or programs. For roll machine operators - assist or under supervision, complete coil changeovers.
• Prepare parts for next steps in production process or for delivery to customer.

Our Shifts: We are currently seeking candidates for 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift.

1st – 6AM – 2:30PM Monday – Friday

2nd – 2PM – 10:30PM Monday – Friday. Eligible for $1/hr shift premium.

3rd – 10PM – 6:30A Sunday overnight - Thursday overnight. $1.50/hr shift premium.

NOTE: Employees hired for 3rd shift may train on 1st shift for up to 6-12 months. Until 3rd shift is fully implemented, 1st and 2nd shift employees may work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all essential functions listed above, including regularly lifting 50 lbs and up to 75 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and ability to pass general math test.
• Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment or similar, including machine set-up, metal working, or welding/fabrication.
• Ability to successfully navigate computer software with training. Possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to work shift assigned and overtime as needed.

Preferred

• Consistent experience in manufacturing
• Preferred experience includes roll-forming or welded tube experience, machine set-up, CNC machines
• Experience performing setups or machine operations / metal fabrication
• Experience performing part inspections and/or reading blueprints
• Ability to demonstrate strong work history with good longevity at previous or current employers
