We are searching for a diligent Leasing Manager to oversee the portfolio of residential rental properties that we manage.

To ensure success as a Leasing Manager, you should have excellent time management skills with attention to detail. Ultimately, a superb Leasing Manager will remain cognizant of outgoing tenants' schedules when arranging viewings and be able to multi-task and handle conflicts in a professional manner. You should be detail-oriented and team-oriented and be able to work with a range of different personalities. Your goal is to ensure that income is maximized, expenses minimized, and our company reputation is held at the highest standards.

Leasing Manager Responsibilities:

• Scouting for prospective lessees.
• Directing showings of each rental.
• Facilitate the apartment turn process, by working with maintenance staff and vendors
• Performing move in and move out inspections.
• Direct routine property-related upkeep by scheduling maintenance, as needed.
• Addressing and recording all rule violations.
• At times assist with following up all outstanding accounts and then serving proper legal notices.
• Appear in court with the attorney for all applicable evictions.
• Performing relevant inspections prior to returning lessees' deposits.
• Forecasting upcoming renewals and potential vacancies.

Leasing Manager Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Must have a driver's licence!
• Receipt of a pertinent Real Estate certificate is advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience as a Property Manager (1 year)
• Affordable housing experience (1 year)
• Excellent verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from both tenants and co-workers.
• Problem solve and be resourceful with minimal supervision and guidelines
• Resolve resident requests and issues promptly
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as needed
