Job Description:
The Lead Software Engineer in Testwill accurately translate functional and non-functional requirements to maintainable and appropriate reliable machine executable code. SEIT are responsible for the testing of products in development within the Integra Connect Analytics Data Center of Excellence. This includes, but is not limited to, reports, dashboards, data extracts, automated ETL processes and verifying standards are met and ensure accurate data validation. Individuals in this role will have a background in planning, managing, and performing software testing within the responsibility areas described.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes coding practices, quality standards, and oversees governance they are being followed.
- Establishes technical debt remediation and avoidance roadmaps.
- Mentors and guides Software Engineers in Test /QA team at all levels
- Serves as a technical expert on multiple complex applications / products / technologies. Creates data products are defined by Product requirements.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves issues involving systems and processes from source to data use in analytics, products, and customer reporting.
- Advocates Quality practices that not only perform well and can easily be adapted and maintained by others.
- Ratifies engineering designs that solve complex or large-scale problems.
- Participates in decisions about system design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Participates as a team member to assess and recommend a migration strategy to new technologies and operational and quality processes.
- Monitors current and future trends, technology and information that will affect organizational projects.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years' experience analysis ideally within the healthcare field.
- 4‐year degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experienced w/ 3 or more TIOBE-Top-10 programming languages.
- Proficient (stack frames, query plans) skill w/ Performance Profiling tools.
- Proficient (whitepaper, API guides, standards) Written/Verbal skills.
- Proficient (advanced features) skill w/ Microsoft Office products & Jira/Confluence.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Azure, SQL, Java
- Proficient in Quality automation tools.
