We are looking for a Landscape Sales and Design Representative with an emphasis on hardscapes to create and nurture long-term relationships with our customers. A well-rounded knowledge of design components, including landscape and hardscape materials, will allow you to provide creative solutions to our clients’ wants and needs.

A candidate must be an excellent communicator, with a strong focus on customer needs, possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and come equipped with robust problem-solving skills. An ideal candidate is a responsible team player with a positive attitude and has a desire to learn and flourish within our company. A highly motivated candidate with design and sales experience and a knowledge of plant material is required.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Meets with prospective clients at their homes to create landscape plans by anticipating customer needs and providing timely positive solutions
• Performs all aspects of design: initial client meeting; measuring properties; preparing design and bids, and presentation to clients
• Creates and maintains positive client relations and open lines of communication during the design/sales process
• Ensures client satisfaction
• Adheres to Company’s policies and procedures
• Establishes a consistent flow of profitable revenue
• Meets sales goals
• Coordinates with other team members to determine project details and scope
• Always maintains professionalism

Qualifications/Skills:

• Landscape design/build experience
• Knowledge of plant material
• Knowledge of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, firepits, etc.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Energetic self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Recognizes the importance of details within all areas of work
• Communicates effectively and in a timely manner, both written and oral
• Positive attitude
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Design software knowledge
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
