Job Functions

• 
  This individual will maintain ownership over all financial analytics surrounding a portfolio of several properties. Specific functions include:
  • Collect and maintain financial data to help drive strategic business decisions, while creating process efficiencies for better automation.
  • Support Property FP&A team by completing routine, recurring tasks related to reforecast reporting.
  • Monthly review and validation of Property Managers reforecasts and providing forward-looking guidance and historical variance analysis.
  • Participate in implementing budgeting and planning software across portfolio.
  • Assist in monitoring the timing and implementation of capital deployment.
  • Assist in annual budget process and business plan development.
• An ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, departments, and individuals is a critical component of this role.
• This role will be supported by, and provide support to, the accounting, operations, asset management, IT, and several other teams.
• This role requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting.
• Our ideal candidate is someone who possess all the necessary technical skills but is also excited about working in a team setting. This person would excel at understanding the business and produce accurate monthly and quarterly reforecasting.

Experience

• 
  College Degree, required—Preferred Major is finance, real estate, or accounting
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Strong excel skills are required
• Experience with accounting and an understanding of all financial statements is preferred
• Experience in real estate and/or hospitality is preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
