Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled Manufacturing Inventory Clerk in Houston, TX 77073. In this performance driven role, you will be responsible for excellent customer service skills.
We are looking for a passionate individual who is detail-oriented, knowledgable Inventory Clerk to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ordering parts and supplies, as well as keeping electronic records of all transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a parts department, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
In a Maintenance Inventory Clerk job you’ll be responsible for:
- Answering customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status
- Locate and pull requested parts from inventory using warehouse management system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts department and warehouse
- Update computerized inventory records to reflect current stock levels
- Generate reports detailing inventory levels, trends, and shortages
- Received and unload incoming shipments of parts and materials
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience/ knowledge of manufacturing parts inventory and supplies
- Ordering parts and needed inventory
- Forklift Experience
- Proficient Computer Skills
- Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm (Must be available to work OT and weekends)
- Medical, vision and dental benefits.
- Temp to Hire
- Pay: $18 per hour.
- First Shift Schedule.
