Overview:
The HRIS Specialist analyzes, develops, and implements information system projects and reports for HR/Payroll and other internal customers.
Please also note this role is a Hybrid position which will work in office 2 days a month and remote from home the rest of the time.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains HR information, implementation, testing, training, problem-resolution, auditing and data analysis, and administration of the Lawson S3 system, Lawson LTM system and modules, Kronos Timekeeping system, and Kronos Scheduling/Optilink system.
  • Assists with system implementation, configuration, testing, training, auditing, and ongoing maintenance of HRIS systems as it relates to all areas of HR and Payroll. Serves as backup to the other HRIS Systems Analysts for all modules of Lawson LTM.
  • Identifies, develops, and programs system enhancements to ensure system optimization, runs reports, and interacts with vendors to establish system interfaces.
  • Provides immediate technical assistance, training, and problem resolution whenever possible on HRIS systems, including Lawson LTM, Lawson S3, and Kronos.
  • Ensures system documentation and training materials are kept current and up to date.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, human resources, computer science, or healthcare administration; or equivalent work-related experience required.

Skills:
  • Knowledge of information systems principles and techniques, timekeeping systems, and knowledge of human resources principles.
  • Advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications (i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel/Access), required.
  • Experience creating DSS / sequel queries, preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required in interactions with hospital personnel, vendors, and the public.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and strong analytical skills, required.
Experience:
  • One year of human resources experience, preferably in a health care setting, required.
  • Two years of experience in a customer-service related capacity, required.
  • Project management experience, desired.
  • Extensive knowledge of labor, EEO, and wage and hour laws, required.

OCCASIONALLY: 1-33% OF THE TIME (0.5 TO 2.5 HOURS): Bend/twist Squat/kneel, Climb stairs or ladders, Flexing/extending of neck, Reaching above shoulder, Hand usage: grasping, gripping, turning, Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.
FREQUENTLY: 34-66% OF THE TIME (2.6 TO 5.0 HOURS): StandingWalking, Sitting
CONTINUOUSLY: 67-100% OF THE TIME (5.1 TO 12 HOURS OR GREATER): Repetitive hand/arm usage, Computer skills, Audible speech, Hearing acuity, Depth perception, Color vision, Peripheral vision, Seeing- far/near, Problem solving skills, Decision making skills, Interpreting data skills
