Job Summary and Qualifications

• Test electrical circuits, equipment, appliances, power distribution panels, starters and motors. Assists Plant Operator, Sr. Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, and Construction Mechanics in repairing motors, appliances, and remodeling.
• Inspects, tests, installs, changes and repairs electrical circuits, communication systems, and components. Changes light bulbs, ballast, damaged receptacles, traces circuits out to be changed or removed. Installs computer, phone, and network cables.
• Removes, cleans and installs electric motors and their controls. Installs new motors and starters and troubleshoots other existing equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance as assigned. Performs PM’s on Parking Lot lighting, Line ISO monitors, Receptacles in hospital, and motors.
• Works with both maintenance and construction to assure continuity of work flow. Assists in moving and relocation of staff. Assist as a responder to the Fire Team, and helicopter landing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years experience is required.

SHIFT:

• Day Shift – Rotate Weekends
• This position takes call.
