What will my day-to-day look like?
- Primary function: To be responsible for all delivery routes by managing and dispatching appropriate staff.
- Secondary function is to act as a reliable communication link between the sales team and customers.
- Scheduling of all daily deliveries
- Manage truck load within DOT regulations
- Maintain RTA compliance
- Maintain GPS Data
- Uphold safety standards/procedures to staff
- Maintain adherence of OSHA regulations
- Plan delivery routes efficiently and effectively
- Schedule appropriate personnel/vehicles for deliveries
- Act as a conduit between the sales team and customers during deliveries
- Assist with deliveries when necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
What are the requirements?
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer relations skills
- Time management skills
- Must have knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements
- Knowledge of delivery area to facilitate well routed deliveries
- Knowledge of product lines
- Computer skills
