JOB DUTIES: Demand Planner & Business Analyst for Eastman Chemical Company. at its facility in St. Louis, MO, Responsible for creating the monthly consensus demand estimates over a rolling 24-month time horizon (with focus on first 12 months) of Performance Film volume, price and revenue for the North America region & Latin America regions as well as the Industrial business. Analysis of historical sales trends, and research of demand drivers, and analysis and critique of forecast inputs to ensure realistic and credible output. Including Preparation and distribution of relevant materials to facilitate the discussion, documentation of key planning assumptions during the demand cycle, highlighting key changes from prior cycles. Lead/facilitate monthly regional demand reviews focusing on major changes, upside/downs opportunities and/or pending actions, options/choices and forward-looking trends and watch-outs. Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. Support demand-supply balancing and product allocation process in case of capacity constraints. Provide routine and ad-hoc business analytics support to the North America Commercial Team that supports and drives optimal business decisions for growth.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s Degree in business, statistics, industrial engineering or related. Experience must include one (1) year post bachelor’s progressive experience in all of the following:

• 
  Leveraging customer or supply chain 3rd party data to develop inventory strategies and projections;
• Analyzing data and financials via multiple sources to derive actionable insights for the Sales and Marketing teams
• S&OP business processes including leading demand & supply reviews with business leaders;
• Developing revenue and volume demand forecasting models and utilizing statistical forecasting processes like time-series projection and multiple regression.
• Developing ad-hoc reports and business performance dashboards using Tableau & Power BI.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• SAP and APO operating systems
