Responsibilities:
  • In this role within the Advisory Services Practice (ASP), we are looking for an employee to support our federal customers at agencies such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and General Services Administration (GSA).

As an Associate Manager for Organization Development (OD) and Change Management, you will work independently and lead teams supporting Federal clients across one of more contracts and programs on work ranging from human capital management, workforce planning, strategy, strategic communications, business process improvement, organizational assessment, culture building, leadership development, and organizational change management. You will be responsible for delivering recommendations and solutions to complex problems, manage teams and programs, own deliverables, and demonstrate an expertise in core consulting skills. The OD/OCM Associate Manager develops systematic approaches to help clients conceptualize and navigate large scale transformational efforts and strategic initiatives successfully. During the process, you will build organization readiness by creating strategies and plans that maximize results and minimize risks to ultimately help clients achieve higher utilization of business capabilities in their organization and create more inclusive workplaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts with several projects and workstreams under it.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks and take ownership of project deliverables, timelines, and requirements.
  • Contribute to organic growth and business development initiatives.
  • Lead project teams and serve as mentor, coach, and model for direct reports.

Organizational Change Management
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making
  • Develop and lead communication strategies that build internal and external awareness to gain buy-in, advocacy, and adoption
  • Measure and communicate stakeholder metrics
  • Define and create plans to improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Coordinate meetings that promote communication and collaboration; identify and lead team-building exercises and/or team gatherings to enhance working relationships
Organization Development & Design
  • Work closely with executives and decision makers at all levels of the organization.
  • Deliver direct support and coaching to all levels of client leadership to help them through planning, transitions, and operations.
  • Conducts organizational assessments to identify workforce needs
  • Facilitates the design and implements organizational design workshops and solutions
  • Provide recommendations for organizational structures and operating models including roles and responsibilities and governance models
  • Maintains governance and reporting rhythms
  • Provide advise and guidance on talent management and leadership development for all levels in an organization
  • Generates organization-wide learning and development content that ensures the talent is developing in alignment with its strategic direction
  • Facilitate both virtual and in-person workshops in a collaborative and inclusive manner
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility work through knowledge building, providing guidance to relevant parties, and integrating best practices into existing processes/procedures.
Organizational Strategy
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner and senior advisor to executives and senior managers by helping to drive agency strategy, execution, and accountability
  • Lead team(s) and build cohesive strategic plans to accomplish mission objectives and meet key performance indicators
  • Add structure and process to drive strategic prioritization, alignment, and outcomes (e.g., workshops, OKR goal setting, strategic framework design)
  • Identify and develop implementation strategies for key strategic and operational objectives
  • Work across functions and stakeholders (internally and externally) to implement strategy
Qualifications:

Required Experience/Skills

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to obtain a clearance.
  • Familiarity of Organizational Change Management (OCM) best practices.
  • Familiarity of Project Management tools and best practices.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • A master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience at a consulting firm.
  • Certification in OCM, OD, HR or other organizational-focused framework
  • Experience with Human Capital or Human Resources best practices in government
  • Prior experience in federal government, preferably one of the CFO-act agencies
  • Familiarity and experience with Organization Development (OD) best practices.
  • Familiarity and experience with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility best practices.
  • Familiarity of agile best practices.
