Provider Auditor Manager

Location: Hybrid, 0-3 times a month/in office. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Provider Auditor Manager is responsible for managing a team of nurses providing clinical validation audit services for Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) paid claims with a focus on managing cost of care and ensuring that auditing dollar targets are met while maintaining relationships with providers and stakeholders.

How you will make an impact:

• Implements audit practices relating to productivity and adherence to desktop procedures and audit criteria.
• Collaborates with audit teams to identify new audit opportunities and refine audit workflows.
• Ensures team is meeting audit goals and adhering to both goals and application of sound audit practices.
• Works with audit stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience including provider reimbursement experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• RN and Master's degree strongly preferred.
• CCS, CIC, CCDS, CDIP certification is strongly preferred.
• Recent experience performing or managing a team performing Diagnosis.
• Related Group related audits strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $81,840 to $147,312.
