Our office located in Tigard, OR is seeking an Account Representative. This position involves telephone contact to sell policies and service existing accounts. Candidates should have customer service experience, the ability to work in a team environment, and a professional telephone presence. Previous sales experience is a plus. Must be able to pass state insurance license exam and meet continuing education requirements.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct professional telephone conversations to service existing accounts in a high call volume environment
  • Ability to problem solve and use time effectively in order to multitask and prioritize work
  • Work well with others in a team setting
  • Meet production goals, which is shown through policies written and Amica Life referrals

A starting salary range of $45,979 - $54,525 annually based on qualifications and experience, with additional quarterly bonuses paid based on production. The 40 hour work schedule is Monday through Friday between the core hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. There is potential to work holidays and a few Saturdays per year based on business need.

Work from home may be available up to two days a week once trained to work independently

Now offering a $1,500 Signing Bonus for new candidates! To qualify for the Signing Bonus, applicants must have accepted their offer between March 1, 2023 through April 30, 2023. The Signing Bonus will be a single, lump sum payment issued on the last pay date of the month following the employee’s six-month anniversary from the date of hire. Signing Bonus payments are subject to Federal, State, and Local taxes where applicable. Amica reserves the right to withhold Signing Bonus payments due to potential job performance and/or dependability concerns.

Job Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Previous customer service and sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous insurance background is a plus, but not required
  • Work from home may be available up to two days a week once trained to work independently
  • Ability to complete paid training upon hire and pass state insurance license exam
  • Meet continuing education requirements to maintain license once received
