POSITION

Louis Vuitton is searching for an Accounts Payable Manager located in our New York City Corporate office who will manage the payment and disbursement functions for all Louis Vuitton Americas entities while confirming compliance to the Company’s established guidelines and policies. You will supervise a team to ensure the accurate and timely payment of expenses, such as invoices and employee reimbursements, and consistently monitor the team’s processes and transactions to identify areas of opportunity. Additionally, you will manage the administration of company programs such as the Corporate credit card and Travel and Entertainment (T&E) reporting.



PROFILE

As an expert in your field, the Accounts Payable Manager will support the month and year-end closing procedures and assist with the reconciliations of intern-company transactions. Being the leader of the Accounts Payable function for the zone, responsibilities will include:

  • Review of all General Ledger Accounts and support any internal or external audits related to the team.
  • Support the relationships between internal partners such as the Financial Planning & Analysis team, Accounting, IS&T, Tax, and Internal Control.
  • Perform continuous review of all departmental workflows ensuring accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement as business needs evolve.
  • Manage administration of various company external A/P Programs
  • Provide support during month and year-end closing procedures for all Accounting/Finance departments.
  • Assist with General Ledger Accounts owned by AP to ensure minimal to no aging of payables as well as initiate further review of any transactions as needed.
  • Coach the development of AP Associates through day to day problem solving.
  • Partner with Department Sr. Manager, Procurement and Financial Planning & Analysis to implement and support processes related to NIPS (non-inventory purchase system) as it relates to Accounts Payable and Disbursements.
  • Manage 1099, 1042 and Puerto Rico process and ensure that documents are filed and submitted timely.
  • Update the Finance-AP Intranet page as needed ensuring all documentation is current and relevant. Proactively develop new documentation for publication.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $110,000 - $125,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions. This position is located at our Louis Vuitton Corporate Office in NYC and honors the opportunity for a hybrid on-site schedule.
