Youth Residential Home Support Director (YRHSD)

$54,000-$60,000 DOE

Youth Rising House is a parenting and pregnant teens residential living program. We also offer transitional living solutions for underserved populations within the service region. We are currently hiring female direct support staff to provide guidance, supervision, and care for PPT youth. Experience in maternity homes is a plus!
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, with 2 years experience working in a residential program (substance abuse treatment, mental health, group home, juvenile detention, etc).
- The HSD will be knowledgeable with skills sufficient for establishing effective relationships with service recipients who have may experience a mental health issue to support them in their own recovery.
- This position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively with ease, strong attention to detail and time management, outstanding oral/written communication skills, and strong organizational skills.
- The HSD will be responsible for the daily duties of residential programming, staff supervision, outcomes measures, and youth and family reunification.
- The HSD will assist youth in identifying and attending other support services, resources, or opportunities and ensure communication with families and providers.
- They will demonstrate capacity to oversee daily operations, coordinate employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage, and enforce all workplace policies and procedures.
- The Home Support Director will provide resident supervision, manage daily operations of the YR House – Klamath County, and collaborate with schools and community partners to promote services and opportunities. This is a dual-focus position.
- The HSD will provide on-site supervision of staff, youth participants, reporting systems, outreach planning, and administrative duties such as conducting daily operations of site maintenance, staffing, micro-budget management.
