Our Wine departments offer customers hundreds of wines from all over the world, with varieties to fit any taste or preference. In this role you will serve as the wine product knowledge expert, building rapport and loyalty with customers by proactively providing personalized solutions and meal pairing suggestions, using your knowledge and enthusiasm for wine production, varietals, regions and tasting methods. You will deliver incredible service and an experience customers can’t receive elsewhere by creating interest and excitement around the exceptional products we offer. What will I do?

  • Proactively approach and engage customers, build relationships by providing suggestions for meal pairings, and helping them find the perfect selection for their tastes
  • Ensure a wide variety of products are readily available for customers by ordering and replenishing product, and setting up eye catching displays and merchandising techniques
  • Coordinate the daily activities of team members in the department, influencing and rewarding positive results in wine sales and customer interactions
  • Partner with Management and Corporate Merchandising groups to coordinate events and featured product displays to peak customer interest and grow sales in the department

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with event planning or customer relations
  • Customer service experience
  • Enthusiasm and knowledge of wine industry, production, varietals, regions, and tasting methods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Sommelier
