SUMMARY

Assist with program implementation, launch and operations, champion and champion team rollout/ongoing administration, oversight and planning of events and general employee engagement of an overall well-being program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Assists with day-to-day delivery of the overall well-being program.
  • Assists with development/oversight of program delivery plan and implementation schedule.
  • Coordinates and implements pilot and company-wide campaigns, programs and events (i.e., incorporating healthy activities into daily job functions, national employee health and fitness day events, etc.).
  • Develops and manages well-being Champions and supporting teams; serve as point person for well-being Champions and leadership at worksite locations.
  • Assists with program promotion.
  • Leverages health plan, well-being and community resources into the overall program.
  • Connects with internal colleagues in dedicated program manager roles with other clients to gain insight, share success and generate new ideas to improve the program offerings and delivery.
  • Ensures vendor partners are administering programs accurately and adhering to contractual obligations, expected service and quality levels.
  • Identifies and fosters integration and collaboration opportunities with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages overall client portal and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations on changes to company policies impacted by the well-being program.
  • Reviews and understands aggregate reports on participation, activities and results to date.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Physical Fitness, Human Resources or related field and at least 2 years of experience focusing on health improvement/well-being and project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Personal commitment to and understanding of well-being initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills: demonstrated ability to analyze information, develop recommendations and present data in order to support effective decision making.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to listen attentively and to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization and present to both large and small audiences of varying degrees of familiarity with material.
  • Willingness and desire to create a team learning environment and to foster a positive, fulfilling work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a balance to department efficiency and field service excellence.
  • Willingness to assist employees in order to achieve departmental goals.
  • Demonstrated strengths in teambuilding and leadership skills.
  • Self-directed; able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Highly organized and deadline oriented with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated creativity and imagination; ability to think outside-the-box.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
