Job description
- Feed and operate welding systems. Make running adjustments as needed.
- Perform all duties associated with hand welding and weld repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment as scheduled. Perform machine-to-machine material handling as necessary within the cell.
- Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment. Accurately report daily activities on work orders and KanBan cards and other media as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor.
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited school
- Must pass the Hendrickson weld test – 2G
- Must be able to read and write legibly
- Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints with geometric tolerance
- Must achieve a minimum percentile score of 33 on the DAT test
- Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen
