Job Summary: Program, set-up and Operation of Waterjet machine on 2nd Shift
Major Responsibilities & Activities:
Program, set-up and operation of OMAX Water Jet machine.- Understanding capabilities of machine in order to maximize output.
- Develop process to achieve better finished parts with cycle time reduction.
- Ability to check dimensions of finished parts using standard measuring devices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Routine and preventative maintenance including equipment checks.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school or equivalent
- Must have demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication (oral and written) skills
- Ability to keep accurate records
- Ability to follow documented procedures, work instructions and customer required records.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Knowledge of OMAX Water Jet Machine a plus
