Simon Operation Services is a 30 year old, contract operations company providing drinking water and wastewater services to clients throughout the state of Vermont. We are seeking a water/wastewater operator in the Champlain Islands region of Vermont to service multiple clients. We are looking for experienced, certified operators who are knowledgeable in all aspects of treatment and process control.

We are also looking for inexperienced individuals to support and guide through existing apprenticeship programs that can lead to a satisfying and stable career in the drinking water and wastewater industry.

Operators will need to be mechanically inclined to perform repairs and preventative maintenance. They will need to be able to operate independently as well as under the supervision of our experienced management team. They would need to be eager to expand their knowledge and be looking to advance their career in public water and wastewater in a well-established and growing company. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan. Paid vacation and cell phone are also included. A company vehicle may be offered depending on the territorial responsibilities. This is a full-time position with some weekend and on call hours required, as is the nature of the industry.
