Located in McKean County, Pa., the company provides unique water resource and recycling solutions to upstream and midstream operators by creating incremental value from traditional waste streams. Highland manages the operational and economic needs of the energy sector in an environmentally responsible manner, advancing recycling and reuse rather than disposal. Based on volume, Highland is the largest handler of produced water in the Pennsylvania Marcellus/Utica Shale region.
Job Responsibilities:
The Foreman, Water Management will serve as an integral member of the team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
Supervise, direct and coordinate with government agencies, third party vendors, contractors, and internal staff to coordinate collection and transfer of water used in hydro-fracturing operations- Work closely with direct supervisor and completions staff to ensure water resources are available when and where needed
- Manage flowback and production waters
- Recognize timelines and execute projects accordingly
- Plan daily operations for multiple projects and oversee execution
- Comply with Highland’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
- Associates degree is preferred
- Minimum of 6 months in the gas and oil and/or construction industries
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and cloud-based database platforms
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Organizational and communications skills
- Must display flexibility
- Strong attention to detail
- Work in a team environment with contractors and landowners
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems professionally and efficiently
