The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Warrior Experience Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the Warrior Experience team and assists in efforts related to ongoing program initiatives including enhancements and post implementation management resulting in an enhanced, cohesive, and personalized Warrior experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Warrior Experience team.
  • Assist with cross-functional work groups to achieve defined outcomes and other critical programs to meet warrior needs and improve the Warrior’s experience.
  • Track, compile, and synthesize outputs from work groups.
  • Assist team’s efforts to collect ideas and feedback, negotiate outputs, ensure recommended changes meet cross functional needs and ensure appropriate and timely communications across the organization.
  • Synthesize the ideas generated in work groups.
  • Participate in rollout of initiatives.
  • Coordinate the scheduling, facilitation, and action items for work groups led by the Warrior Experience team.
  • Assist in the development of presentation deliverables related to initiatives.
  • Assist in the management of Warrior Experience initiatives including status updates and progress.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for collaborative Warrior Experience initiatives to ensure progress.
  • Work closely with the Warrior Experience team to ensure updates, communications, etc. are aligned with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and catalog documentation for Warrior Experience team’s business processes, communications, and reports.
  • Establish working relationships and collaboration with all Wounded Warrior Project teammates to integrate and align Warrior Experience within the overall organization goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Highly effective communication skills, orally and in writing, to a range of audiences. Strong relationship management skills with a good understanding of people. Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style and approach depending on the individual.
  • Effective operational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist multiple activities with varied deadlines and deliver on time.

EXPERIENCE
Requirements
  • Two years of experience providing administrative support.
  • Two years of experience working with teams to solve problems and improve processes.
  • One year of experience with executive level communication and/or presentations.
Preferences
  • Two years of experience with program integration activities and implementing initiatives.
  • One year of experience working with Salesforce.
  • One year of experience with WWP Programs.
  • One year of experience working with a VSO/MSO/NFP.
EDUCATION
Requirements
  • Associate degree in relevant field. Equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.
Preferences
  • Bachelor’s degree.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • General office environment, temperature controlled.
  • Up to 5% travel.

For New York Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $51,250 - $77,280 annual base salary, subject to a candidate’s combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
