Automotive Warranty Administration

Clay Cooley Nissan of Duncanville is currently looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated professional to hire for our Automotive Warranty Administrative position. The Warranty Administrator prepares, records, and submits warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.

Job Duties

  • Processes warranty claims in a timely basis for each franchise or distributor to ensure proper documentation. The Warranty Admin continues to follow up on payment as needed.
  • Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the accounting schedule and post credits on computer. The Warranty Admin files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor.
  • Resubmits all rejected claims or receive authorization to write them off from management.
  • Tracks warranty parts by tagging with a repair order number, date of replacement and date of the disposal. The Warranty Admin arranges shipment of parts to the factory, distributor, or disposal.
  • Assists with the cashier, telephone duties, and clerical needs as directed by the supervisor. The Warranty Admin maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
