JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title Warehouse Clerk/Delivery Driver

Reports to Warehouse Manager

Job purpose

Receive product and stock shelves. Pick customer orders to be packed and shipped/delivered. Drive company van for deliveries when needed

Duties and responsibilities

- Receive daily box shipments from UPS/Fed Ex.

- Operate forklift to receive pallets of freight.
- Accurately stock shelves and rotate stock
- Pick customer orders in a timely fashion.
- Box up and ship orders in a cost effective manner using UPS/Fed Ex shipping software.
- Deliver orders to customers and pick up products using the company van.
- Keep the workplace clean by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and collecting trash and recycles regularly.

Qualifications

★ High School diploma or GED
★ Driver’s License with a clean record
★ Familiarity with Windows operating system
★ Ability to operate forklift and pallet jacks
★ Shipping/receiving experience
★ Delivery experience

Working conditions

❏ Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM with occasional early days if needed for deliveries.
❏ Make deliveries rain or shine.
❏ Occasionally make long drives for pick ups/deliveries.
❏ Hot working conditions during the summer months.
❏ Cold working conditions during the winter months.

Physical requirements

➔ Stand/walk for extended periods on hard floors with one midday lunch break.
➔ Regularly lift packages of 30-50lbs
➔ Repeatedly bend and twist torso while holding packages of 30-50lbs

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
