About Our Warehouse Technician

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated worker with a positive, team focused attitude. You will learn a variety of Warehouse functions that require both precision and organization. If you like to perform a variety of tasks and take pride in contributing to the success of a team, this is the position for you!

It's a physical job - you may be on your feet for 90% to 95% of your workday. You will be expected to safely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Bending, stretching, and climbing ladders will be daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and distribute buyout and manufactured parts
• Verify accuracy of received inventory and inspect product condition; record and report any shortages or damages
• Pull inventory parts for shop work orders accurately within designated time parameters
• Review inventory counts for discrepancies
• Mark machined parts with traceability or other information as applicable
• Pull and package parts in the most suitable manner for shipment
• Schedule and coordinate domestic and international shipments; process export documentation for international orders as needed

• Tech Savvy: You are familiar with Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly adapt to new software programs, including the Welker ERP software, to handle the clerical aspects of the position
• Attention to Detail: You make a conscious effort to focus on quality and safety, and accurately pick and load the correct products and quantities for inventory and shipment

Qualifications

• One to two years of inventory/shipping experience preferred
  
• Comfortable in a warehouse setting and with the physical requirements of the position
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Forklift experience a plus; training and certification provided as needed

This is a full-time position with the occasional opportunity for overtime. Starting salary is within the posted range and is determined by experience, education, and potential.
