Ethos Beauty Partners is a family-owned wholesale distributor of professional beauty products, shipping products to salons & spas in the five-state area. Ethos is currently seeking hard-working, reliable team members with a positive and motivated attitude in our fast-paced warehouse environment located in Runnemede, NJ.

Position summary: Maintains performance of warehouse operations within a specified zone including, adherence to the highest level of safety and housekeeping, commitment to employee technical training, focus on order processing accuracy, coordination of order and material flow, achievement of productivity goals and proactive involvement in identification of employee issues and communicating them in a timely manner. Must effectively communicate expectations with assigned team members and coach for success. Works hands on to guide order flow and remove bottlenecks.

Essential job functions and responsibilities:

• Participate in safety programs, comply with safety rules & lead with “safety first” behavior
• Train employees to follow standard work / SOP’s
• Ensure workplace is always organized and clean (clean as you go)
• Communicate openly and respectfully with assigned team to increase engagement
• Help with interview process for new co-workers & give input on co-worker performance
• Ensure tools, materials and equipment used in assigned zone is ready for the shift
• Supports communication process for shift start and weekly team meetings
• Address basic performance issues and escalate to management when coaching doesn’t produce change in behavior
• Must comply with and promote compliance with HR policy including (attendance, general work rules, respect in the workplace and respect for workplace diversity)
• Must be able to set a high energy pace focused on optimizing available work time
• Assign work to team members in support of managing changing priorities

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• One to three years of previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing experience
• Successfully complete on-going training programs developed for the Team Leader role
• Ability to flex schedule to support customer demands (may include occasional OT and weekend work)
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to work with computers, scanners, material handling equipment
• Must be willing to accept new duties as business needs and the role evolve
• Must be able and willing to perform all tasks assigned to member of the team you lead

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basic
